Questions
About converting FB2 to MOBI.
Can I send the MOBI to my Kindle by email?
No. Send to Kindle no longer accepts MOBI files and asks for EPUB instead. Copy the MOBI to your Kindle over USB, or send the EPUB directly.
Is the formatting of my FB2 kept?
Headings and images carry over, and the table of contents stays clickable. Complex page layouts can shift slightly, as e-book text adapts to the screen.
Can I convert FB2 books I bought?
Only if they have no copy protection (DRM). Protected books are rejected with a message. Many shops and free libraries offer DRM-free FB2 files.
Do I need an account?
No. Up to 50 files a day work without an account, and the results have no watermark.
Where are my files stored?
On servers in the EU, and only for 24 hours. After that they are deleted automatically.
