Questions
About converting WTV to MP4.
Can I convert copy protected recordings?
No. Recordings that Windows Media Center saved with copy protection cannot be converted, only unprotected ones work.
My WTV file has several audio tracks. Which one do I get?
All of them. The MP4 file keeps every audio track with its language, and the track marked as default stays the default. Tracks that contain no sound are left out.
Are subtitles kept when I convert WTV to MP4?
Text subtitles such as SRT or ASS are kept as tracks you can switch on in the player, with their language. Colors and fonts of styled subtitles are not kept. Picture-based subtitles from DVDs and Blu-rays are left out of the MP4 file, and so are teletext and closed caption tracks.
Will the MP4 file have a watermark?
No. Converted files never get a watermark, free conversions included.
What happens to my files after the conversion?
Your files are processed on servers in the EU and deleted automatically after 24 hours.
