Questions
About converting 7Z to ZIP.
Can I convert a password protected 7Z?
No. Encrypted archives are rejected with a message, as entering a password is not supported yet.
Will the ZIP be larger than the 7Z?
Usually yes. 7Z compresses more strongly than ZIP, so the same files take more space, but the ZIP opens on every system without extra apps.
Are the folders of my 7Z kept?
Yes. The ZIP has the same folders and file names as your 7Z, including names with accents or other alphabets.
Will the ZIP file have a watermark?
No. Converted files never get a watermark, free conversions included.
Where are my files stored?
On servers in the EU, and only for 24 hours. After that they are deleted automatically.
