Questions
About converting TTF to WOFF2.
How much smaller is the WOFF2 file?
WOFF2 uses compression made for fonts, so the file is usually much smaller than your TTF. How much depends on the font.
How do I use the WOFF2 on my website?
Upload the file to your site and load it with an @font-face rule in your CSS, with format("woff2") in the src line.
Does it work with variable fonts?
Yes. Variable fonts keep all their axes, for example weight and width.
Will the WOFF2 file have a watermark?
No. Converted files never get a watermark, free conversions included.
Where are my files stored?
On servers in the EU, and only for 24 hours. After that they are deleted automatically.
