Questions
About converting TTF to WOFF.
Does the font look the same after converting TTF to WOFF?
Yes. Letter shapes, spacing and kerning stay exactly as in your TTF. The WOFF file is just smaller.
How do I use the WOFF on my website?
Upload the file to your site and load it with an @font-face rule in your CSS, with format("woff") in the src line.
Am I allowed to convert this font?
That depends on its license. Open licenses such as the SIL Open Font License allow it, while many commercial web font licenses do not allow desktop use.
Will the WOFF file have a watermark?
No. Converted files never get a watermark, free conversions included.
What happens to my files after the conversion?
Your files are processed on servers in the EU and deleted automatically after 24 hours.
